Description: The septic system was not functioning so the homeowner cut the effulent line and routed it so that the sewage went out of the tank and down the hill. I love sewage in the snow!

Description: Discharge to drainage ditch from gutter downspouts. Homeowner ran the piping through the septic absorption field and the discharge from the downspouts was picking up septic effluent resulting in a high E.coli count in the drainage water.
